Old Donation has a variety of other opportunities for Adult Christian Formation and training in lay leadership, including...

EfM

Education for Ministry, affectionately known as EfM, is a program of theological education-at-a-distance of the School of Theology of the University of the South. Students sign up one year at a time for this four-year program. It covers the basics of a theological education in the Old and New Testaments, church history, liturgy, and theology. Students meet regularly, usually once a week, in seminars under the guidance of trained mentors. The program grants a certificate at the completion of the four years and 18 Continuing Education Units for each year's work.  Our group meets every Tuesday evening from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Cursillo

A short course in Christianity.  Cursillo weekends are for many people life-changing spiritual growth opportunities.  A chance to explore and deepen faith, retreats are offered seasonally and application is made through the diocese.

Stephen Ministry

Share the love that God gave you in the Stephen Ministry, a trans-denominational Christian education organization that provides high quality training and resources to strengthen and expand lay ministry in congregations.

Stephen Ministry equips lay persons to provide distinctively Christian one-to-one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and community.
