The Christmas Pageant The Christmas Pageant is always an important part of our celebration on Christmas Eve at the 5:00 p.m. service. The Pageant Players: Children aged 2 through 5th grade are invited to participate as one of the many characters in the Nativity story. Sign-ups begin each year in October and practices take place throughout the month of December. Everyone who wants to participate is welcome! Directors and Assistants: The Pageant is always so wonderful because of the work of many dedicated volunteers, such as Directors, lighting and sound coordinators, costume and prop managers, shepherds for our youngest participants, and more. Christmas Pageant Schedule: Sunday, December 13th: 1st Practice, Right after 10:45 worship in the Church. Sunday, December 20th: 2nd Practice, Right after 10:45 worship in the Church. Wednesday, December 23rd: Dress Rehearsal, at 6:00 p.m. in the Church. Christmas Eve: Arrive about 4:00 p.m. in order to get costumes ready for the pageant at 5:00. Very young children may arrive at 4:00 p.m. to play sheep and donkeys, and need not attend all practices. For more details, please speak with Dona Jones, Pageant Director or Ashley Scruggs. |
