Our Narthex mosaic was installed in June 2024, after a year of planning with the artist, Stacia Goodman, from Minnesota. The design started with a statement we provided Stacia: "God's people, a diverse community, being moved by the spirit toward a future world of fullness and justice."

Old Donation Episcopal Church is a nearly 400-year-old parish that continues to grow and thrive. We take seriously our ministry of hospitality to people of all backgrounds.
We have a lovely colonial church, a National Historic Landmark, as well as modern facilities for meetings and worship. We stream, we zoom – we are firmly in the 21st century.
We have a thriving Day School for children from ages two (2) through transitional kindergarten that serves our congregation and local community.

The Rector We Seek
Our next rector will be someone who will journey with us as we are becoming the beloved community that Jesus calls us to build together.
The new rector should be a respectful and compassionate communicator who is able to build relationships and make all feel welcomed, valued, and heard. This person should be responsive to parishioners in the many significant points in their lives. They should be able to develop, nurture, and support the ministry of the laity.
The rector we seek should be able to preach sermons that make the gospel relevant to life today and that help us to understand scripture from new perspectives. We desire a rector who is comfortable in the variety of worship styles which have become important to this congregation.
Even though we are growing, we recognize that we need to be more intentional in engaging and welcoming youth, young adults, and young
families. We hope for a rector who shares this commitment.
